The main responsibilities will be:

• Develop and maintain insightful client dashboards that offer comprehensive feedback on client accounts, including recommendations that consider the broader implications for ROI.
• Create essential client-facing deliverables such as technical audits, performance reports, and internal linking audits.
• Provide support for client site migrations, rebrands, and restructures.
• Liaise with clients and actively participate in relevant client meetings as necessary.
• Perform regular diagnostic checks on client website performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Demonstrate a profound understanding of search engines and web crawlers, translating this knowledge into actionable SEO recommendations that are measurable and enhance overall performance.
• Resolve complex indexation and crawlability issues, providing recommendations to enhance SEO performance at a global level.
• Offer detailed site architecture and URL recommendations using appropriate tools and techniques that align with the broader SEO strategy and ensure long-term success for the business.

The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry best practices.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify SEO opportunities, and measure the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
• Keep track of performance metrics and provide regular progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders
• Work with developers to ensure proper implementation of technical SEO elements, such as structured data, schema markup, and XML sitemaps.
• Monitor website traffic, rankings, and user behaviour to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous SEO optimization.
• Identify and troubleshoot website issues affecting SEO performance and work towards timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical SEO insights and support during the client acquisition process.

What you’ll bring:

• Extensive knowledge of technical SEO, search engine algorithms, and the functioning of search engines.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical SEO role.
• Proficiency with essential SEO tools, including Looker Studio, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and Google Tag Manager.
• Strong understanding of HTTP status codes, redirects, canonicals, hreflang, meta robots, and other compliance factors that may affect Googlebot’s ability to crawl client websites.
• Familiarity or experience working with popular Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Contentful, Sanity, or Webflow.
• Comprehensive understanding of JavaScript / Rendering SEO and its impact on visibility in major search engines.
• Solid knowledge of front-end languages and markups, such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successful technical SEO implementations and improvements in previous roles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
